Joy is a graduate of Biochemistry from a Federal University in Nigeria, and currently finalizing her
Master’s dissertation in Public Health (MPH) Sexual and Reproductive Health from the University of
Abuja. She also holds certifications from University of Washington, USA in various areas such as
Epidemiology of Global Health, Project Management in Global Health and Clinical Management of HIV.
She is passionate about making impactful contributions particularly in the areas of sexual and
reproductive health, as she believes that having a healthy and better maternal health begins with
healthy sexual and reproductive choices. Joy is a volunteer with the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
She has served with several organizations involved with providing sexual and maternal health services to the target communities.
