Stephanie Ajuma Ogbole is a program intern with SHAKE Africa. She is a sexual and reproductive health advocate, holds a bachelor’s degree in classical Anatomy from the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (Nigeria) and is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Health (MPH) in Sexual and Reproductive Health from the prestigious University of Abuja, Abuja (Nigeria).
Stephanie is a competent and dedicated social worker who is passionate about helping organisations engage with their audience to organize and implement health projects with a special focus on sexual and reproductive health. She has demonstrated this passion through her various contributions in promoting and increasing the advocacy on health and has volunteered with several Non-Governmental Organizations.
As a woman and child advocate, she believes that the world will be a better place if more attention is given to adolescents' health and empowerment and if women are allowed to reach their full potential through the appropriate establishment of gender equality/equity.
She has lived in various regions of Nigeria and this has made her realize that there is a huge gap to be bridged in sexual and reproductive health in the country. She acknowledges that there is a lot of work to be done and has taken the responsibility to make a significant impact.
Her areas of expertise are in child protection in Humanitarian Context, maternal and child care, adolescents health, sexual and reproductive Health and Rights, and People/ Project Management.
